4. Warranty Remedies

If a valid warranty claim is approved, TahTech will, at our sole discretion:

  • Repair the defective product
  • Replace the product with an equivalent or comparable unit (replacement may be new, refurbished, or like-new where permitted by law)
  • Refund the purchase price (where repair or replacement is not feasible)

Replacement products carry the remainder of the original warranty period or 90 days from replacement, whichever is longer.

We aim to respond to warranty claims within 2 business days and provide a typical resolution timeframe of 7–14 days after receiving the returned item. Please note these timeframes are estimates and not binding.

6. Dead Pixel / Display Policy

LCD and OLED display panels are complex electronic components. A small number of pixel anomalies (dead pixels, stuck pixels, or minor backlight variations) can occur and may be within normal manufacturing tolerances for display technology.

TahTech's policy:

  • If your display has clusters of dead/stuck pixels or multiple pixel anomalies that materially affect use, we will honour a warranty claim.
  • Isolated single dead or stuck pixels that do not significantly impact viewing experience may not be covered, but we will assess each case individually.
  • We do not cite strict ISO pixel thresholds, but instead evaluate based on the severity and location of the defect.

If you believe your display has an unacceptable pixel defect, please contact us with photos and we will review your case.

7. Warranty Transferability

This warranty applies to the original purchaser only and is non-transferable. If you sell or gift the product to another person, the warranty does not transfer with it.

Proof of original purchase is required to make any warranty claim.

8. Your UK Consumer Rights

This warranty is in addition to, and does not affect, your statutory rights under UK consumer law.

Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, you have legal rights if goods are faulty or not as described. These rights are separate from and in addition to this manufacturer warranty.

For purchases from TahTech directly, you have the right to a repair, replacement, or refund if a product is faulty, depending on the circumstances and timing. Nothing in this warranty limits or excludes your statutory consumer rights.

9. Extended Warranty (Coming Soon)

We are developing a product registration programme that will allow you to extend your warranty by an additional 12 months at no cost.

When available: Register your product within 30 days of purchase to extend your warranty from 12 months to 24 months total.

This feature is not yet live. In the meantime, all products come with the standard 12-month warranty. Check back soon or contact us for updates.
